Ger, you need to write more. You need to light a fire under your ass. Goddammit, you stood up to the gardai. Where’s the old Ger roar?
And Mark Coughlan, you like Ger’s blog but you don’t give him a link on your blog.
Mark,
The not-that-old-thank-you-very-much Ger is busy trying to make a living. The free words come if I have time, after the paid words and projects are out of the way. Though the way things look, you may well hear more from me in the new year.
I wouldn’t be too critical of Mark, he’s given me several unsought plugs between his blogs and twitter feeds. Check out http://www.thestory.ie if you haven’t already
Funny that. I just checked the blogroll on thestory.ie and I don’t see a link to faduda. I don’t see one either on “reading material” on http://www.markcoughlan.com.
Bizarre comments. I’m a big fan of this blog actually and comment often here, relatively speaking. A link or lack thereof means little. Though this has reminded me to add one, a simple oversight.
Gerard, good to hear you’ll be back here. I can appreciate where you’re coming from and I’ve no doubt the “old” Ger roar is still heard loudly in relevant places.
Look forward to reading this again in oh-ten. Have a good Christmas.
Mark
Then it looks like my bizarre comments paid off.
Paul, there’s life beyond bloglinks. 🙂
Mark, if you ever decide to check out usenet, it’s worth googling a post by Paul on abuse in Killybegs, where he grew up. One of the best posts I ever read in soc.culture.irish
Bizarre is that a headline with no copy generates more comments than most posts I’ve written here this year.
